No Art have been playing around town for a while. Their sound used to be more drone-heavy, but there’s a Warpaint-esque melancholic melody to their tunes thus far.
Kids In Place is a tune they released a few months ago, and there’s word of an EP on the horizon. It’s rhythmic intro is hooky enough to peak interest, before the mid-tempo switch halfway through that you can’t see coming.
The Sydney three-piece is made up of Trish Roberts, Vivian Hyunh and Charles Daaboul, and you might’ve seen them around town supporting peeps like Ghoul and Dead China Doll. They’ve also been featured on a New Weird Australia compilation.
Check out the tune and if you dig it, you can follow them on Facebook for tour and EP updates.
